Coercing Google into properly crawling your site has been a core technical SEO task for decades.
As we move into the AI search era, trying to do the same for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc., is a much more difficult task.
We’ve found many sites are accidentally blocking access to their site from AI search services, effectively tying their hands when it comes to ranking in AI search.
To help with this, we’ve added a new publicly available AI Search Console to the Knowatoa platform.
Crucially, the console:
- Checks for active blocks from firewalls, Cloudflare, CDNs, or security plugins.
- It covers not just the big services but all of the underlying services that collect data on behalf of the larger services.
